My intent with this website is to offer unique insights in terms of addressing the problems and challenges of personal and professional transformation.
The concept behind ReimagineYou is quite simply a reminder that any life or work-life change, or better said, “recreation” has its origins in your willingness to re-imagine your present circumstances closely scrutinizing your strengths, gifts, capabilities, and potential blind spots. My blogs are meant to address that challenge by supplying information, ideas, and enlightenment to start you on your path.
There is an Art to re-creating your persona. This would be Art in the sense of learning how to deploy a more “imaginatively based” approach to reshaping the psychology that defines who you are and what you do. There is also the Art of possibility, taking the initiative to put into action one’s human capacity for creative change.
The science behind your efforts to recreate personal and professional persona involves closely scrutinizing the organized body of historical knowledge on the subject of self-development, the strategy of personal reorganization which puts the focus on observing and testing the soundness of your conclusions, and surveying the latest findings in the field of cognitive science, the study of the mind. The more you know how your mind works, the greater your ability to reappraise and reframe your thinking prior to your actions.
There is no crash course to recreating your persona and discovering what you’re capable of, and should be pursuing. It’s a journey, and the trick (or the goal if you will) is to strive to make it an exceptional journey, breaking through self-imposed barriers on a constant basis.
