Jake Kot
Vocational Consultant Personal Coach
The heart of consulting and coaching is taking individuals where they can’t take themselves
Finding yourself as well as what you truly should be doing with your life continues to be a challenge for most as surveys have shown time and time again. Why? Change demands considerable effort and strong commitment. Countless years of being an educator, an entrepreneur running my own business, an editor in-cheif to an online magazine, and a volunteer coach for youth has given me the capacity to understand what it takes to get an individual to the next level, and create the commitment I spoke of.
Where my strength resides is offering a synthesis of insights into conquering your personal challenges, looking at solutions derived from the elements of behavioral psychology, mindfulness (a state of active, open attention to the present), accessing viable vocational development, and engaging the art of creativity and improvisation into your soon to be found or newly conceived life/work structure. And most importantly, helping you to develop the “courage” to change your mind and think differently. My services are designed to help you achieve these goals, scripted to fit your unique, individual needs.
Reimagining “is” the opening act, the ability to see beyond the present moment and your immediate environment. But it’s not just about initiating your imagination to get things started; it’s about keeping it in active mode as you progress. Beyond that, we will engage in what is known as psychometrics, the measurement of your skills and knowledge, abilities, attitudes, personality traits, and educational achievement in an effort to explore new possibilities to enhance you potential.
I have no doubt there are many aspiring individuals, professionals, artists, and students alike, that would welcome assistance in this area, but have financial constraints. I strive to bridge that gap as a consultant. I’ve made the decision to keep my consulting fee at a moderate price which the smallest amount of investigation will verify. I view this as a conscious step toward fostering the concept of paying it forward which I’ve certainly been gifted from others on more than one occasion. Paying it forward is nothing less than a cultural game-changer, and by culture I’m referring to the values and behaviors that characterize our social and vocational communities.
Consulting and personal coaching fees are $197.00 per month which consists of a one hour session per week via phone or Skype. I do not set a minimum amount of months required when signing up. I believe that if I’m doing my job, and you’re seeing results, our time together will simply run its natural course, whatever that may be. This all begins with a free introductory session as well.
If I’ve caught your interest, you can contact me at [email protected] with any questions you may have.
I look forward to our potential relationship.

“Jake Kot is a multi-faceted intellectual artist, whose nexus into the realm of self-help has been of benefit to me in many ways. His helping me with reprogramming my belief system has been most beneficial. He has helped me with identifying beliefs which have been holding me back, reprogramming them and finally, developing a matrix to test everyday decisions. While his talents can help most anyone, after working with Jake, I believe his forte revolves around helping artists and students find their way to a more productive life. It has been a pleasure to grow and work with Jake.”

“As a creative professional, it can be difficult to admit that you might need help to improve aspects of your business approach.
After talking to Jake a few times, we began work on marketing and optimization. Together we were able to research and identify marketing tools such as who is being noticed and why. I was able to gain new insights and perspective into areas of my business that needed development in order to achieve meaningful financial success.
In addition, Jake helped me to recognize and tap into a reservoir of strength and knowledge to further my personal and artistic goals.”

“I’ve been working as a CFO for a few decades now, but starting my own business was always on my mind. After a few sessions with Jake, I finally took steps to create my own enterprise. His insights were invaluable, but more importantly, he more or less gave me the courage to take the step. I have no problem recommending Jake to anyone out there looking to make a change.”
